Windows 8.1 users unable to launch game

There has been an issue recently popping up more and more with users that have a windows 8.1 machine.. The game just simply wont launch.

Windows 8's recent update has caused issues with Exclusive mode in games, and the default setup for the sim is "Exclusive Mode" to better performance. If your game is not launching and you are using windows 8, send us a helpticket, letting us know, and we can change a setting on the back-end to allow the sim to launch on your machine.
