The DRL Sim supports many different USB controllers and RC transmitters, including but not limited to: Radiomaster, FrSky Taranis, Spektrum Dx6/Dx9, JR, Futaba, PlayStation, Xbox, and generic USB controllers.
There are literally thousands of controllers that work with the sim, and it would be difficult to list them all.
Here's a community created page to help you out, in choosing a radio if you are looking for one!

A great rule of thumb is, if the computer can operate with it, it will likely work in the DRL Sim.
Here is a link to a testing site, where you can plug the controller of choice into your machine (be sure to turn it on), head to this site, and test its inputs! https://gamepad-tester.com/
Don't be fooled by thinking that your computer is detecting the controller, when it may just be detecting a device plugged into the machine, but not actually reading its inputs.
If you are on a Windows Machine, from your desktop you can press Windows Key + R and type Joy.cpl and hit ENTER. This will open your Windows Game Controller box. If your controller is on and plugged in, you should be able to see it listed. Please click on the listed controller, and then click on Properties. In the properties box you can see the inputs reflected when moved on the controller. There is also an option to calibrate it with windows from the Test tab.
Keep in mind, that the DRL sim will only work with controllers that your machine can work with. If the machine is not working with the controller, from either the Windows Game Controller box, or the Gamepad Tester site, then the sim will not be able to either.

What USB Dongle do I need? Great question!
First and foremost you will need a way to connect your controller to the computer. While some simply connect via USB of various types, some controllers only have a 3.5 mm audio port in the back. If that is the case, you will likely need a USB Sim dongle.
USB Sim dongles come in either Wired or Wireless. Best way to find one for your controller, is by searching online the controller name with USB Sim Dongle added at the end of it, or head to your local hobby shop!
It would be a good idea to contact the controller manufacture or resort to the operating manual as well, to find the right one. Be sure to read the reviews on the product before buying, to ensure it will work with your controller/version. Also its a good idea to make sure that the product can be returned just incase you run into issues.
Typically sim dongles can very in price from $5-$20... some wireless ones can even be a bit more than that. Keep in mind that while wireless dongles are a great buy, there is always the possibility of a latent connection. If you go with a standard cable of some sort, be sure to get one long enough, so its not accidentally yanked out.
